There are several ways that you can help.
Search for the name of you or a family member. All of the data such as Last Name, First Name and Date of Birth was transcribed from the original record books of the church. Next to each person's name and date of birth is a link back to the corresponding page of the original church records. The first link is always in English. The second link is always linked to German. Most of the time, any errors will be caused by being unable to read the handwriting. To report an error -- send an e-mail to uecucc@comcast.org with the corrections. In the subject of your e-mail, use Archive Correction.
Submit a JPEG picture of a loved one with some information about their life. Send an e-mail to uecucc@comcast.org with the JPEG picture and any addition information. In the subject of your e-mail, use Archive Addition. We have two samples that you can look at to give you an idea of what you might share. If type "1922" in the search box, scrolling down the list you will see one name with a link in the Picture column. Clicking on that link will show an example. We have a second example. If type "1924" in the search box, scrolling down the list you will see one name with a link in the Picture column. Clicking on that link will show an example.
Most people will search just by typing in a LAST NAME, like "Smith" -- no quotes
But being creative with the DATE, you can see additional information.
For instance, typing 1930 in the search box will list all of the people born in 1930
For instance, typing 01-20 in the search box will list everyone born on January 20th.
For instance, typing Friedrich in the search box, will list everyone named Friedrich.
Search only searches for one thing at a time. You cannot search for something like Friedrich AND Smith
